La Venus is a rare model French Doll made in the 1920’s by Carvaillo in the style of Lenci. She is not a Raynal doll. The hairstyle is called “The Marcel” which was the style from the 1920’s. Virtually an antique doll of nearly 100 years old. This beautiful girl wears her original felt pink and green dress and hat, though they are not in perfect condition. There are moth holes on the front and back of both. The left shoe also has moth holes and the right shoe may be a replacement. Socks and underwear appear original.
